Meet Melissa G Wilson
of Networlding

With over 20 years of experience writing, publishing, and launching books, I have successfully helped 174+ thought leaders write, publish, and launch their works. Now, I am ready to assist you too!

I began my book writing and publishing journey as a networking expert, eventually becoming known as the “Networking Coach” at 6 Figure Jobs. Over ten years, I had the privilege of sharing my LinkedIn wisdom with over 3000 executives, laying a solid foundation for their professional pathways.

Creating five best-selling books has marked my journey through the literary world. Notably, “Networlding,” my seventh book, achieved remarkable success by holding the #10 spot on Amazon for an entire year, alongside another one of my works that became a Wall Street Journal bestseller.

In 2010, fueled by my passion for publishing and desire to help others succeed, I founded Networlding Publishing. This venture allowed me to merge my extensive networking experience with my publishing background, offering authors a robust platform to elevate their careers and businesses through influential thought leadership books.

I’ve always been deeply committed to the success of my clients. To date, I have successfully guided over 168 thought leaders through the processes of writing, publishing, and launching their books. My clients have been diverse and esteemed, ranging from the head of diversity at Hewitt to Cisco’s Chief Digital Officer, a seven-time Inc. 500 entrepreneur, and the bestselling author Tom Peters, who has sold over 4.5 million books. My work with thought leaders from fast-growing companies worldwide is a testament to my dedication and expertise.

I’ve made it a point to stay at the forefront of book publishing with achievements like joining Seth Godin’s Domino Project Street Team, helping to “reinvent publishing.” I also co-created a series for the American Marketing Association called “The Seven Problems of Marketing” and served on the board of The American Bar Association, where I contributed to launching a new line of books.

Splitting my time between Chicago and Charleston, I’m working on a project to revitalize content by identifying ten of the world’s most exemplary networkers this year.

While I call Chicago’s West Loop home, we’ve embarked on a community-minded mission alongside my playful golden doodle and sidekick, Gracie. Together, we formed “The Itty Bitty Clean Up Committee,” dedicated to keeping our neighborhood welcoming and clean. This blend of personal and professional endeavors continues to shape my multifaceted career and personal life, maintaining my commitment to growth and community well-being.

Additionally, my role in Seth Godin’s Domino Project as part of his “Street Team” allowed me to contribute to his mission of reinventing publishing.

Living between Chicago and Charleston, I continue to push the boundaries of what it means to be a thought leader in publishing. My latest project involves identifying and collaborating with the world’s top networking mentors, focusing on helping new adults get better starts in their lives.
