Real Time Actions To Broaden Your Network

Once you have identified your values, established your goals, and formed your primary circle how will you stay connected and how much time will it take.
Certainly, you could fill an afternoon with activities; attending functions and connecting with people and planning. However, what if you only had an hour. How much could you accomplish in one hour? Following are some effective tasks that you can complete in one hour:

The Networlding One-Hour Action Plan:

Search LinkedIn. Thousands of potential connections join LinkedIn every day. Get your information out there or new a new connection

Sort through your contacts.
Establish a time to talk with one or two contacts in the upcoming week.

Talk with one primary circle contact. Start by asking what new projects he or she has been working on one interesting person they have met recently. Either question will get you connected better and faster to another potential great connection.

Set up a follow-up call. It sounds simple but most people fail to set up a follow-up call. If you make it a habit to set up a follow-up call with good, potential networking partners, you will find your successes doubling a tripling over time.

Remember that it’s people who create opportunities. Therefore, connecting regularly with high-potential networkers who are ready, willing, and able to offer both introductions to new connections and good opportunities are worth their weight in gold.

There are many networking successes you can accomplish in a short time that will allow you to network more effectively. I also share many more strategies and tactics available in the Networlding guidebook that I now am happy to share with you at no cost. To get a free copy, e-mail me at melissa@networlding.com.
