Are you thinking about writing a book? If you are, consider a series. Why? Series allows you to build a stronger community of followers — statistically, 23 percent or more of all people who read your books do so because they read your last book. It pays to pay attention to the series, as a publishing option.

While Melissa of Networlding Publishing is working hard to bring out Book Two in the “Shy Town Girls” series by Katie Leimkuehler, she’s also ensuring the readers of Book One know all the details of the launch, which will include a release party, media updates and much more!

To see how this can make a difference for the books you are working on, check out two book series: “Sex and the City,” which is very similar to “Shy Town Girls.” The other falls within a similar market demographic.  See how both book series evolved to television-series format.
