A Year of Good Luck: A Clever Idea

A Year Of Good Luck: A Clever Idea

Read this post, and while you do, ask yourself when you think it was written.

One year of good luck is quietly for sale on eBay. The auction item, to be presented with package and bow, makes for a unique, highly personal last minute Christmas gift. Proceeds from the auction will be given to Genesis House, a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to women down on their luck.

The One Year of Good Luck eBay Auction Package, presented in a specially designed box includes:

  • A pressed, four-leaf clover straight from the hills of Ireland
  • A blessed container of holy water from Lourdes in France
  • 41 days and 41 nights of prayers
  • A certificate declaring your status as a winner of a year of good luck
  • 1 year of monthly personal coaching by Melissa G Wilson, best-selling author, executive coach and CEO of Networlding
  • The eBay auction seller advises, “in order to redeem this gift, you must believe.” A recent study, “The Good Luck Project,” (2003) demonstrated that lucky people create good fortune in their lives by employing psychological techniques that make them especially open to opportunities, highly optimistic and resilient in the face of bad luck.

The auction on eBay will end on Christmas Eve and can be linked to online at: https://a5e0b6379d.nxcli.net.

I found this, actually, leafing through old files. Yes. It’s funny to think this was written nearly two decades ago and is perhaps still a good idea today. The lesson I’m offering here is to create new things but, sometimes, revisit the old. If this idea resonates with you, use it.

But please, if you do use it, share with me your results!
